Devotion as transformation
Bhakti does not mean blind belief. It means directing emotion toward humility, gratitude, compassion, and remembrance of the Divine.
Softening the ego
Through prayer, chanting, service, and surrender, the hard sense of separateness begins to soften. The heart becomes more receptive.
Daily practice
Simple devotion can be practiced through mantra, gratitude, mindful service, or dedicating actions to a higher purpose.
