The meaning of Yoga

Yoga comes from the Sanskrit root Yuj, meaning to join, unite, or bring together. In practice, it brings scattered attention, breath, body, emotion, and conduct into harmony.

Beyond physical exercise

Posture has value, but it is only one part of the path. Yoga also includes ethical living, breath regulation, concentration, meditation, self-study, and awareness.
