Yoga paths
Raja Yoga
Raja Yoga is the royal path of mental discipline, described most clearly through Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

Practice note: Use this article as study guidance. Practice gently, avoid forcing the body or breath, and take qualified guidance for advanced techniques or medical conditions.
The path of the mind
Raja Yoga trains attention and reduces the fluctuations of the mind. It asks the learner to move from scattered thinking toward clear observation.
Eight-limbed structure
Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi form a complete path from daily conduct to realization.
Practice focus
Do not rush toward meditation without foundation. Conduct, posture, breath, and sense discipline make concentration more natural.
